The staff was amazing and peaceful and we would come here again. We stayed in a lovely and cosy room with super confy beds, a bath plus adequate kitchenette.

I had an exceptional stay at a lovely retreat surrounded by beautiful greenery and ponds. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a cottage. The pool and spa were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. I'll definitely be back and recommend this resort to others.

The peace, beautiful scenery, superbly finished cottages. Efficient service.
The room was rather cold and in normal winter weather would be chilly with the small electric heater. And no electric blankets.

Spent Christmas in this hotel and it was a great location since it was close to all the shops and restaurants. Loved that they had a swimming pool and a sauna. The area around the hotel was also very green and natural, which was a great environment for relaxation.
The service was very disappointing. The staff was not very friendly and did not seem to care about their guests.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, tucked away from the main road but still close to the town centre. The rooms were cozy and cute, with everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the sauna and spa pool, which were so relaxing. We felt like we were on an isolated island, even though we were just a short distance away from everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Highly recommended for families.

Amazing place to stay. Owner was very friendly and made you feel instantly at home. The resort is very close to the center of Kerikeri but hidden behind trees so also feels like a hidden paradise. Beautiful scenery, feels a lot like Bali and they keep chickens, ducks and dogs. Amazing stay, can't wait to go back. Would recommend very highly

Our cottage stay was fantastic, with stunning views and plenty of space. The helpful staff made fresh towels available daily, and the kitchen was impressively well-stocked. The location was perfect for exploring charming nearby towns, and even a day trip up to Cape Reinga. We loved being close to the Stone Store and Rainbow Falls, and highly recommend the Waitangi Treaty Grounds museum. The privacy and four-poster bed were definite highlights, and we appreciated the homely decor.
The lighting in the entrance was awkward in two-way traffic.

Idyllic location, set in a beautiful valley full of native species and wildlife. Wake up to chorus of bird song. Pet ducks and hen visit each morning and the two black pet dogs make great company when you are sat out on the verandah. Gorgeous rooms, fully equipped for self catering. Wonderfully comfy bed with scrumptious linen. Powerful hot shower and lovely towels. Hot tub with lots of bubbles to use at any time. Masseur on hand to ease any aches and pains. Lots of books and a vast library of DVDs to borrow during your stay. Wonderful hosts who are always on hand to help and answer any questions. I booked for one night but stayed for three! It is a real oasis and highly recommended.
I loved everything.

The location and surroundings so close to town. Quiet, rural, serene.
Road in a bit bumpy.

Complementary beverages and breakfast offered were a nice touch. Room location was great for exploring the surrounding area with easy access to public transportation. The pool was also a highlight, providing a refreshing break from the summer heat.
The internet connection was unreliable and often disconnected during important work calls. The noise from the nearby freeway made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.
Tourists from New Zealand often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
